Cameron suppressed a frown as he flipped the ledgers closed then nodded as he answered, “Of course, as soon as the doors open, we are ready for business. I apologize for the mistaken identity. The sun was at your back and the lights are still off. My assistant was fetching some breakfast from our local market and I assumed it was her.”
The man looked toward the front door as he smilingly said, “No, I certainly understand! One rarely goes shopping for literature at such an odd hour.”
“So how can I help you sir,” Cameron asked as the man continued to stare at the front of the shop.
